To drive success, team members must commit to a common vision, come together to solve problems, engage in productive conflict, and agree to hold one another accountable. At their core, the most effective teams align on the right things, create a “high challenge, high support” environment, invest in their team’s development to “sharpen the saw,” and continually work towards creating trust.

I will work with you to evaluate the team's current state and understand what they need to do to maximize performance, promote an environment of trust, and build team members’ skills so that they can openly address strengths, challenges, and ways to work together better.

  • The Smart Collaboration Accelerator is a research-based psychometric assessment that helps individuals, leaders and teams understand their behavioral tendencies and turn those behaviors into ‘catalysts’ for Smart Collaboration.

    Developed by Gardner & Co., the Smart Collaboration Accelerator is designed to help busy professionals collaborate effectively within teams and across an organization. Dr. Burchell is a certified practitioner of the Smart Collaboration Accelerator, and interventions using this assessment examine the seven behavioral dimensions associated with Smart Collaboration. Developing awareness of individuals’ profiles as well as key collaboration skills, participants will allow them to become more thoughtful about when those behavioral tendencies promote effective collaboration, and ways to flex them dependent on the context, such as the business need, team dynamics, and their roles.

  • The Five Behaviors® programs can improve team effectiveness throughout your organization and are based on the successful model from Patrick Lencioni’s best-selling book, The Five Dysfunctions of a Team.

    The five dysfunctions of a team are the absence of trust, fear of conflict, lack of commitment, avoidance of accountability, and inattention to results.

    The Five Behaviors® of a cohesive team are the reverse of these dysfunctions and include trusting one another, engaging in conflict around ideas, committing to decisions, holding one another accountable, and focusing on achieving collective results.

    Through the Five Behaviors® programs, we’ll work together to better understand areas for development at the personal and team levels to improve organizational health and drive results.
